The Story of Joseph, Series 522

The Story of Joseph was the 4th book to be issued in series 522.  (Other bible stories are to be found in an later Ladybird series: 606a.)

It was written by Lucy Diamon, illustrated by Kenneth Inns and was originally issued with a dust jacket.   It’s a pity that Inns didn’t illustrate many books for Ladybird; he had a lovely touch and sense of colour.

This matt copy would be in very good condition inside and out but that it has had the front free endpaper removed (see photo).   It dates to the 1970s but doesn’t have a price  on the back.
