The Story of Our Canals, 1975, Series 601

The Story of Our Canals was first published in 1975 and was one of the last titles in the long-running Achievements series, 601.  Ladybird the company had just been sold when this book was published and this was the last book in the series to have the traditional Ladybird format and feel.   It was illustrated by Roger Hall and was written by Carolyn Hutchings.
