The Story of St Paul, Series 522

The Story of Saint Paul was the penultimate book to be issued in series 522, which makes it a little harder to find than others in the same series.  (Other bible stories are to be found in an later Ladybird series: 606a.)

It was written by D S Hare, illustrated by Eric Winter and was never issued with a dust jacket.   Eric Winter is more commonly associated with his fairy tale illustrations for Ladybird – including Cinderella, Princess and the Pea and Rumpelstiltskin.

This matt copy has a sunned spine but is otherwise in excellent condition inside and out with very little wear and clean, tight pages.  It dates to the 1970s but doesn’t have an original price of on the back.
