What to Look for in Autumn.

This was the third book in the 4 ‘What to Look for’ Four Seasons books of series 536.  These books are a wonderful collaboration of beautiful prose, by E L Grant Watson and the stylish, evocative and nostalgic illustrations of C F Tunnicliffe.

This copy has matt boards and is in VG condition but for the faults that can be seen in the pictures: on the first free endpaper, there’s a rather charming, homemade label rewarding a child for his crosswording success.  In addition, there’s a brown foxing spot which has bled through the preliminary pages but fortunatly stops at the first reading page.  Otherwise, a little sun-fading the the spine but nice clean pages.   In short, a good copy of a lovely book.  It dates to the 1970s but doesn’t have an original price on the back.
