Toys and Games to Make, 1966, Series 633.
This is the 2nd book in the Hobbies series, 633 and the first one in the series never to have originally been published with a dustwrapper. It was written by James Webster and was beautifully illustrated by Robert Ayton.
This is a book that many people seem to remember from childhood. I think a lot of us used its pages to make its projects – which required an abundant supply of syrup tins, wooden cotton reels, corks and wax candles.
This copy:
Matt boards. It’s in very good condition inside and out – slight sun fading to spine. Very little wear to the boards and nice, clean pages. It dates to the late-1970s and has the original price of 24p on the back.
