A pair of picture dictionaries (1980)

The Peter and Jane Key Words reading scheme was so successful that very soon a number of support materials were also published.  The two ‘Picture Dictionary’ books were part of these.  This one was written by JimMcNally and the illustrations are credited to Hurlston Design.  These are the 1980s versions of books first published in the 1960s.  By 1980 the company had been sold and the approach towards artwork was very different. The illustrations are much sketchier and less figurative.

Both books are included here.  They are in in good, used condition with the wear and knocks you’d expect.
