Peter and Jane 12b Mountain Adventure 1960s

There were 36 book in total in the Key Words reading scheme – the Peter and Jane books.  Each of 12 levels was divided into three: a, b and c.  The ‘a’ books introduced new vocabularly which was reinforced in the ‘b’ books while the ‘c’ books tended to focus on writing, spelling and phonics.  Book 12b Mountain Adventure was first published in 1967.  It was written by William Murray and illustrated by Martin Aitchison.

This matt copy of 12b is the original 1960s version.  It is in very matt condition externally (minor marks and rubbing) and VG inside, with a mark to the front endpapers but generally nice, clean pages. This copy dates to the 1960s and has the original price of 2/6 printed inside.
