The Story of Flight, 1960, Series 601 revised version (matt)

The Story of Flight was first published in 1960 and was the first title in the long-running Achievements series, 601.  It was illustrated by the brilliant visual-storyteller Robert Ayton and was written by Richard Bowood.   This book was revised in the 1970s to update it.  It was first published with a dustwrapper.

This copy is the revised version which covers Concorde and supersonic flight, only ever published with matt boards.  It is in Very Good condition inside and out, with not much wear and nice, clean pages – just a neat name to the front endpapers.  It dates from the 1970s and was original priced at 24p
