Underwater exploration, 1967, Series 601

Underwater exploration was first published in 1967 and was the 10th title in the long-running Achievements series, 601.  It was illustrated byB Knight and was written by Richard Bowood.  As I child I found this book very haunting – the grey green sea and mysterious figures in diving suits, the shipwrecks and underwater archeology.  Brilliant stuff.

Matt boards.  In excellent condition inside and out with little wear to the boards and clean, tight pages.  This copy dates to the 1970s or early 80s although there isn’t an original price on the back.
