This recording for BBC Radio Kent was made at the opening of the Ladybird Artists exhibition in June 2018. In it I talk a little about the history of Ladybird. But mostly you’ll hear the grown-up Peter and Jane (the real-life brother and sister who acted as the models for Martin Aitchison’s original illustrations) reading from one of the books.
