This is the 4th book to be published in the ‘safety’ series.  Written by Robert Birch.  Photos by John Hemming and some illustrations by Kathie Layfield.

This book was first published in 1981 – after the sale of the company and a time when the new owners were trying to do things differently – and more cheaply.  One change was the increased use of photos instead of, or as well as photos to illustrate them books.
